Frequently Asked Questions
What services do you offer?
1. Custom Itineraries
2. Accommodation and activity research
3. Flight support
4. Support while you travel
Do you book Airbnbs?
As an Advisor, I work through hotel and resort booking systems that don’t include Airbnb or Vrbo. I can’t book them directly on your behalf, due to platform restrictions. I can research and recommend based on your preferences. You’ll receive booking links and personalized notes.
How far in advance should I contact you?
Ideally 8+ weeks before departure. Last minute planning may be possible but it usually increases costs and reduces options. Cruises and group trips should be booked earlier- contact us as soon as you’re thinking about it.
What’s included in a Discovery Call?
The free discovery call helps me learn more about your travel goals. Once you book our services, the planning fee includes a custom itinerary, access to questions via email, and optional add-ons.
What if I need to cancel or change plans?
I will work with you to adjust your travel plans, but all planning fees are non-refundable once the work has begun. I highly recommend travel insurance to protect your investment.
Do you have a specialty?
What does “accessible and inclusive travel” really mean?
It means creating travel experiences that work for people with a wide range of needs, including mobility, sensory, cognitive, or health-related challenges. This includes things like step-free routes, visual aids, quiet spaces, and supportive staff. The goal is to make sure every traveler feels safe, comfortable, and welcome wherever they go.

Travel Myths
Travel advisors are for luxury and expensive trips.
False. While I can plan upscale trips, I can help those on a budget to make the most out of your money. My goal is value- from backpack to boutique.
I can book myself. Why do I need to pay someone?
You can but you don’t have to. I save hours of research, protection from bad bookings, and suggest options you wouldn’t have found yourself. As a travel advisor, I have access to perks and discounts that are not publicly available. Think of me as a strategic partner.
Won’t I pay more using an agent?
Not at all. The planning fee gives any up front costs full transparency. I can actually help spend less by avoiding scams, overpriced tours, and time-wasting mistakes. Commissions are paid by the suppliers not by you.
I don’t need help - I’ve traveled a lot already.
Seasoned travelers know the time and energy it can take to make an amazing trip. Experienced travelers benefit from having someone that can monitor logistics, suggest off-the-beaten path options, handle planning when life gets busy. I can help you travel smarter, not harder. Especially if you have been avoiding that next adventure because your time is limited or the trip is complex.
It’s weird to pay someone to plan a trip.
Not true! You probably pay professionals for help with taxes, home projects, fitness and/or beauty so why not travel? A great advisor helps turn a good trip into an incredible, stress-free experience. Think of it as hiring a designer for your vacation.
Accessible travel means giving up adventure or luxury.
Not true. Accessible travel can be just as enriching, adventurous, and luxurious as any other kind of travel. With the right planning, travelers with disabilities or special requirements can enjoy safaris, cruises, city tours, and five-star stays. It’s about choosing experiences that match your comfort level and interests, without compromise.
Resources*
Want to check out a few of my favorite resources?
- Get Your Guide: Self-service. Great for booking local tours, city passes, and activities. You’re on your own here, but the platform is super user-friendly and often includes flexible cancellation.
- Viator: Agent-Supported. If you’d like help picking the right experience or want me to book it for you, I’m an official Viator travel agent. Or, feel free to browse and book through my link. Either way, I’ve got your back.
Top Resource → Airalo: Get $3 Off with Referral Code "FELICI5991". My go-to for international eSIMs. I use this on every trip. I also offer setup assistance if you book through my link and need help getting connected.
- Trip.com: Self-service. Best for Asia-based travel. Hotels, trains, and airport transfers in places like Japan, Korea, and Thailand. No agent support, but a solid option for confident travelers.
- Jayu at Expedia: If you’d like me to handle the booking, I can act as your agent for full-service support. If you prefer to book yourself, you can use my link, just note that support is limited unless you book through me directly.
- Jayu at Vrbo: For travelers who prefer the comforts of a vacation rental. Think entire homes, unique stays, or extra space. I don’t directly assist with VRBO bookings, and they don’t offer agent support.
